Okay. So we all know that whether we are parents of one kid or twenty, parenthood is probably one of the biggest responsibility we will ever partake on in our lives. In order to TRY to do this parenthood thing properly we sometimes try to listen to other people's advice. We weed out the not so useful ones and keep the ones that enlighten us when it gets a little crazy. One of those enlightened advice is to keep humor and communication in your pocket. (These two things by the way go for every relationship out there.)

Last night, Andy and I were showing Iris an ultrasound pic of her cousin, (Auntie Meem's). Then we asked her if she wanted a baby brother or baby sister. She said NO! We told her that it would be fun, she'll have someone to play with, etc. Still a firm No. Then, we explained to her that it would be lonely if she didn't have a sibling. By this time she was tired of saying no, so she paused, thought about it and simply replied, "That's why I have Ella".
