I've been in contact with Chris from Daytime Running Lights regarding his company's service, Make it Play.
Make it Play is a great tool for any podcaster's blog. Just add the provided javascript code into your blog template and watch it search through your content for MP3 files. Once the MP3s are located on your webpage, an overlayed audio player appears at the bottom of the page. The built-in player does the following:
Why is this tool not implemented into Camoosta yet? As some of you recall yesterday and today, Camoosta was not accessible with IE7 but you're able to log-in with Firefox. On Windows, Make it Play works great with Firefox but not so cooperative with Internet Explorer 7.
First, it's a script issue with IE7 in which Chris kindly helped fixed for us. Next, it was my own fault of inserting the code in the wrong place. I find that the code works best at the bottom of the page; insert the code just above the < /body >. The problem is, during play and in IE7, when you navigate to another page within the domain, the audio player bar at the bottom of the page disappears; but the MP3 still keeps on playing with no way to stop. That said, use at your own risk and contact Grabb.it for any help since my expertise is very limited.
This is a great service and would highly recommend this tool for blogs. Once the fine people at Grabb.it offers any advise on our issue, I'll try and get it running again with our Camoosta website.
